The Country Side

The flight area in Sakaide, Kagawa Pref, has two launches.  One is Kitamine, which faces to West.  The other is Ohkoshi, which faces to North.  Today, I got flight from the Ohkoshi launch.  This side in this Area has a view in contrast to Kitamine side (see yesterday's entry).

Flight Along the Sea

I moved to the Shikoku Island where has my parents home.  Anyway, I visited the Kitamine Area in Sakaide, Kagawa pref.  This is gate city to the Shikoku.  I had a flight for 40 min enjoying few of Seto Inland Sea.

Dramatic Asagiri

It was unstable and rough condition in the Asagiri Area.  However, no one injured.  ;)  

I just have a poor flight, just launch & just land, fortunately. Flyers who got top-out had hard experience.  XD

Like Winter

Cold air came to the Asagiri Area. A lot of flyers enjoyed paragliding.  My fingers ached so much during one hour flight.

Unusual in Asagiri

I came to fly in the Asagiri Area.  This Area has amazing view of Mt Fuji.  Unusually, it was warmer and worse upper current.  Anyway, I really enjoyed gliding there.

Winter Gloves

I tried the new gloves for winter flight. they are for motorcycle, and they have small pockets to keep disposable heating pads.

Clear Winter Sky

Today, we had flight in clear winter sky.  The white mountains in distance are in Tateyama mountain range.

Silent December

A few pilots got soaring in the cold air.  I wonder if it was last condition to fly in this year.....

The First Snow

This shot is taken from Southern part of the Shishiku Area....  It was outside of the Area.  ;D  Last Friday, we had the first snow in this winter.  I hope it would be more white.

Holiday Park

Today, 23 Nov, it is holiday for Labor Thanksgiving Day in Japan.  We had enjoyed good flight condition.  It was technically difficult, but enjoyable.  ;D

El Nino

Fright condition in the Shishiku Area is getting worse...   El Nino will make the winter warmer.  Warmer winter is not suitable to soar in our Area.

Street after Rain

it was rain this morning, but we got fine condition form 11am.  i enjoyed glide with street of clouds.  ;)

The Tonamino Area

It was tail-wind condition in the Shishiku Area.  Thus we moved to the Tonamino Area in the next prefecture, Toyama.  I really enjoyed autumn view in Toyama.

Colorful Season

It is colorful season in our Area.  Autumn leaves got brown, red and yellow.  :D

New Weapon to Glide

I purchased SKYTRAXX.  It makes mild sound in rising…   i can handle my wing calmly.  :)

Seto Inland Sea

It is autumn holidays.  I came to Sakaide to glide above the Goshikidai Area.  I enjoyed view of Seto Inland sea.  ;D

Frontal Passage

We had unstable condition.  Windy...   Only professional pilots got flight.  Of course, i just watched them.

Autumn Sky

We got good weather to glide. It was clear sky after Typhoon has passed. ;D

There are a lot of teachers to glide in the Shishiku Area.  However, they do not care of our flight. XD

Kuragatake Peak

Today, i made struggle to get altitude above this hill, which had the artificial pond at the peak. i spend 40 min to get the height as the clouds.  ;D

Cloud in Low Height

The altitude of cloud base was low, but flight condition was nice. ;D
Development , attenuation and migration of clouds were much frequent and unstable.  it was very illuminated.

Early Late Summer

It was the last day of summer vacation. I enjoyed clear sky in Nother Area of the Shishiku Area.

Summer Passion

Summer sky, but today’s condition was not so mild.  ;D
Anyway, i enjoyed flight with PASSION.  it glided very safely.

Goryu

Goryu Flight Area has 3000 m (10000 ft) hight mountains at its back.  There are good ski areas.

Awesome

Anyway, it was awesome condition to fly!

Summer Highland

My friends of Shishiku Flyers and I went to Hakuba Goryu Area.  It was awesome condition to fly.

Summer Has Come to Us.

Japan's Meteorological Agency said that the rainy season was done in our region last week. I got a flight in the strong west wind.  Summer has come to me.  XD

Eerie Condition

It was eerie condition. Direction was South and much strong...  X(   My forecast went wrong. In the today's flight, it was rain.
Anyway, rainy season in this year will be gone.  The summer season will come to Our Area.

It was Hot, but So Cool.

I got a chance to test the new glider, Skywalk CAYENNE5.  I have experiences to test CAYENNE2 and 3.  These old CAYENNEs had very smooth turn and stable move.  this new wing kept control ability as old ones, but speed and glide ratio got much better.
So, I wish that euro would be cheaper.  XD

Cloudy, but Soarable

 I flew below the bottom of cloud, not to be pulled in. Altitude was low, but it was fun.  ;)

Early Summer White Blossom

 Peak Kura, Kuragatake, had white blossom.  I got altitude above, and I got a good time enjoying early summer view.

Her Name is Gina.

This puppy is new face of our Shishiku Area.  She will play a role of hostess for flyers.
She's made me hers at a glance.  ;)

Before Rainy Season

In Japan, we have rainy season in middle June to early July. This Sunday, it was luckily fine and we got a rare chance to fly before rainy season.  Condition was so rough…  XD

Late Spring Sky

Cold wind came in higher altitude, but its dry air was comfortable.

White Volcano

Today, we had beautiful view of Mt. Hakusan.  In these days, some of volcanos in Japan got activated. Mt. Hakusan is also one of the famous volcanos, but it seems silent now.  :)

Only in the Morning

I had a flight chance in the morning.  In the southern sky, i enjoyed flight with friends who ride on MANTRA (EN-D).  My wing was PASSION (EN-C). Therfore, i had to go back to landing earlier.

Spring Hard

This is the late period of Japan's spring holiday season, "Golden Week".  It was not sweet condition, but some sweet guys had flight.  ;(

Of course, i really enjoyed cold North wind...  

Spring Streamer

This is a season of the traditional streamer in Japan!  Meanwhile, some local areas have Tuna or Whale streamer....  Anyway, it may be a good season to swim the sky.   :D

Spring Holiday Season

Japan has a holiday season from late April to early May. It was the first day of holidaies in early May. A lot of flyers enjoyed gliding in the Shishiku Area.

Fresh Verdure

Fresh green color is getting more bright in the Shishiku Area.  Wind is also getting warmer.

Tengu

The bridge across the Tedori River connects between Tsurugi and Nomi.  Its name is "Tengu-bashi bridge".  Tengu is a creature of Japanese folk religion.  He is a mountain wizard who has the fan that makes strong wind. I guess that he enjoys playing his fan in this spring.  :) 

Warmer

In April, snow almost disappeared in our Area.  I did not use inner gloves for winter flight.

The Second Wing

The Launch and Landing spaces in our Aria is covered with snow in winter.  Therefore, some pilots use their old wing to avoid new one getting wet.  Now, I use MXC2 as the 2nd wing.
 This black wing is Skywalk POISON.  it is my friend's wing for winter.

The Season Has Started.

High pressure came to our Area. Snow was removed out from our Launch.  i enjoyed flight with friends.

The First Day in Shishiku

It was the first day to fly in the Shishiku Area.  Condition was not so good.  The wind against was so week.  It was almost "no wind".  The snow laid much deep.  I really enjoyed gliding on the snow.  XD   I had flied twice today.

The Kinokawa River

I went to the Kinokawa Area with Shishiku Flyers. This Area is in Southern peninsula in Japan's Main Island, Honshu. I fortunately had a chance in Saturday evening.  It was my first flight experience there.
