Get Out!

I will leave Asagiri Area tomorrow. I have not yet had flight for more than one month. I hope I would enjoy flight there.
Anyway, this year was so important for me. I felt fear to my POISON, and then bought ARTIK. I do not know whether it was right dicision. However, It was necessary for me to recover riding POISON. In next coming spring, I will exchange the lines of my POISON to enjoy flight more.

Young Competitor

He will go to fly in Asagiri Area. I would like to join him, because I have not had flight for one month.

Feeling of Kiting

We could not have any chance to fly this weekend. On Saterday, I had a kiting practice with POISON, and today I had a practice with ARTIK. My old POISON lost line-balance. I felt so heavy to rise up my POISON. So, I am afraid that I should change its lines.

Be a Director!

A guy who talks with tranciever is a veteran pilot in Shishiku. I hope that he would play a role of a take-off director, because his career is enough to keep safety and lead launching by beginners.
Anyway, I want to be free from this job. ;-)

Tri-colors

Blue, red and white color sky in Shisiku Area. This brilliant arrangement makes the area bright.

Days without Flight

I could not get a chance to enjoy weekend. Recently, I am getting adapted in this situation. I do not have to go to Shishiku at all. It means that I've got old?

Recent 2-3 Wings

They are more sensitive than ever. Especially, balance of lines is very delicate. We have to be careful, and pay attention and money for maintenance of wing, probably.

Migratory Bird

One of the stuff of Paraglider School of Shishiku Area goes to work as a tandem pilot of Hang Glider to Queenstown in New Zealand every winter. It seems to be worse condition there. Weather and Economy. Visitors from foreign countries are decreasing.

No Fear!

I could not ride my POISON in fear and trembling since this spring. I was accustomed to this yellow wing in this autumn at last. So, I now have two wings, POISON and ARTIK.

Nothing to do.

Maintenance

This week, Shishiku Area will close for cable renewal of Gondola. Weather forecast shows that it will bad weather in next weekend. So, in any case, there is no hope of flight in the Area.

Yes, I could.

It was typical winter condition, but I got flight for 45 min around North Border. Anyway, I enjoyed clear view. Mt. Tateyama covered with snow was so beautiful.

It was rain. Weather Forecast said that this week would be rain every day.

The Best View in Shishiku Area

The Launch of Shishiku Area faces to West. So, its evening view is really marvelous. I love to fly enjoying this view so much.

World Wide Pilot

He was an international competitor. Now, he ride on Airwave MAGIC, and he is looking for new one.

Engineer

He is an OB of Knazawa University. Now, he lives in Matsumoto, Nagano. There are a lot of flight Areas in his visinity, but he comes to fly in Shishiku Area.

Autumn Colors

In Shishiku Area, it was very poor condition. We had flight in the moment of no wind. Leaves were changed into the autumn colors.

The first day of winter.

A cold front passed through today. Here, the distribution of atmospheric pressure was got into winter type. In Shishiku Area, it will have Northeast wind, which is backward to Launch direction.

In Nagano, we really enjoyed beautiful autumn colors of mountains last Sunday.

Lake Kizaki, again

Shishiku Flyers and I went to Nagano, since it was bad wind condition in Shishiku Area. We visited Goryu Area, but it was backwind. On the way to Ikusaka Area, we found flying paragliders in Kizaki Area. So, we got chance to fly at Lake Kizaki. We really enjoyed beautiful view of Hakuba Moutains from the sky.

Spiral

This flyer, who rides on Airwave SPORT4, is one of the senior flyer in Shishiku Area. He does like practise of Spiral Dive, while he does not like to have a long flight far away.

Autumn Leaves

It's getting cold. Leaves are changing its colors. Green, red and yellow leaves made beautiful contrast on mountains. I enjoy this view every autumn.

Lovely, Clear Autumn Days

We have very beautiful fine day in autumn. This fine weather has periodicity. Against wind at our Area in weekend depends on this periodicity. This year, we often had the misfortune to lose soarable condition.

Sake Breweries

Shishiku Area is in Tsurugi town, where famous Sake Breweries are. Especially, KIKUHIME and MANZAIRAKU brew so superb sake.

Grip

This is a toggle of Niviuk ARTIK, which is recently purchased by a young guy whio comes from Matsumoto, Nagano. My ARITK, however, does not have this toggle, since my one is first lot of ARTIK. Anyway, I do not mind that difference.

Big Flight in Autumn

We had really good flight condition today. A lot of flyers kept longer time in sky and got longer distance. This red glider in the photo is Niviuk ARTIK, which is ridden by a young girl. She practiced a spiral dive this afternoon.

Cosmos Garden

Ohkura-dake Area has very pretty cosmos garden. In this season, we can enjoy beautiful flowers there.

New Pilot!

I heard that the old flyer who rode on MacPara ENVY passed the Pilot Examination. I was pleased with this news, because I like his personality and have respect for him so much.

Autumn Condition

In autumn, we have clear blue sky but windy condition in Japan. Anyway, visitors of the tandem flight does not care of such wind condition.

Great Saturday

Resently, we had wonderful flight condition in every Saturday. Last Saturday, I go over the Dam as Southern landmark out of South border.

He was a winner.

Last Saterday, he launched in weak back wind, but he got top hight. I could not reach there, while I ride the same wing, Niviuk ARTIK.

Practise Day

It was backwind at Shishiku Launch. So, we went to Ohkura Area to have a practise for ground handling. I had the rise-up in front posion because little wind there. It was so good for me to have a drill for rise up the glider.

Autumn sky has already come to Shishiku Area. This cloud is very typical one in autumn. In 1000 m hight, it got cool. I had on the flight suits. I guess thhat it will cooler tomorrow.

For Winner

Winner of the examination could get good treatment! Of course, the winner must invite friends to dinner. :-)

Keep My Hope Alive

I am anxious to fly in blue sky. I have not had a flight in fine day for almost one month. I wish that I would have a chance in next holiday.

It's a boy!

A guy who rode on MAGIC3 got new wing, Niviuk PEAK, and moreover he got a baby!! He was irresolute about its name.

New System of Break Control

MERCURY has a new break control system. It can regulate inside and outside of a rear edge of the wing.



The young guy who rides this wing "MERCURY" is one of the hottest flyers grew in Shishiku Area. I am a fan of his aggressive flight.

Congratulations!

Dr. O passed the examination for a Novice Pilot! We had a curry party after examination. That curry was very good taste.

Master of Withdrawal

This afternoon, one flyer fell into the forest. We spent more than 2 hours to withdraw the glider.

Hakuba Goryu, Nagano

In Shinshu tour, we visited Goryu Area. We waited for a while until cloud did gone up. Fortunately, we got one flight. While I flied, valley wind came to the Area. So I had to quit flying.

Lake Kizaki, Nagano

I went to the Lake Kizaki Area to flight training. I tried front collapse and spiral there.

September started!

We should adapt with North wind condition. Anyway, I like that!

Unclear Sky

This photo was taken in September of last year. We usually have such unclear sky in Shishiku Area in early autumn.

The summer has gone.

I could not have a flight in this weekend. Rain and wind was slightly cold. Autumn is getting closer and closer.

Where is high pressure in Pacific Ocean?

This summer, High pressure in Pacific Ocean was so weak. Thus cold air came from North. It is so curious. It seems to be autumn in this Middle August.

Vacation, nothing to do

I got summer vacation from 13 to 24 August. Unfortunately, I left Kanazawa while it was good condition in Shishiku Area, and I am here in rainy day. X-(

Target in South

This is one of the landmarks in Southern Area in Shisiku. I spent more than 1 hour to reach there last Wednesday.
