The Final Entry in 2011

This year, I could not have a flight enough to gratify myself.  Anyway, I would become proficient in my new wing, MXC2.

Repaired

My lovely wing, MXC2, was back to me.  It is not easy for me to handle it, but I enjoyed flying with this wing.

Under Repair

My MXC2 had sent to Gain International Inc., the Japanese Importer of MacPara.  I hope it would made my wing more stable.  :-)

The First Snow

Finally, very cold air has come to our Area. Yesterday, my home town, Kanazawa, got the first snow in this winter.

Para-Kiting?

In the Shishiku Area, there are lots of kites. We are sometimes able to glide with them.

Late Autumn

Fortunately, it was so good flight condition. Someone who rode on Omega 8 went to next Prefecture "Toyama". I also enjoyed flight, although I was in poor health.

Afterglow

It was so beautiful.

Arbent Thermique

Last Saturday evening, the condition of "Arbent Thermique" had developed at the Shisiku Area. Some pilots needed have "Big Ears" to approach the Landing. Unfortunately, I did not fly in this condition, but I got a lot of shots by my cameras.

Red Leaves

The face of the mountain had autumn color.

Fine Saturday in Nov.

It was so good condition to fly in the Shishiku Area. A lot of flyers came to fly there. I enjoyed autumn's fine sky.

Altocumulus

It is typical cloud in autumn. We call it "Sheep Cloud".

My Left Hand

My left hand always grips the riser, but I keeps my right hand free. Is this strange?

The Fresh Pilot was Born!

The Gold CAYENNE3 rider at the Shishiku Area got the Pilot license for paragliding today. She is "Sunny Girl" in our group. I was pleased with this news so much tonight.

Autumn Field

Our Landing is surrounded with autumn wild flowers.

Autumn Leaves

In autumn, cold air turned leaves red. I love to see them around the Southern Border.

Ceiling

It was aa 1,100 meters above. It was so hard for me to break through it yesterday.

Lost Target

Today, I got a good flight condition. In this flight, I got shocked when I found that the parabolic antenna, our pylon at North part in the Shishiku Area, was removed.

My Favorite Scenery

I love the evening view of the Shishiku Area in autumn. I have not enjoyed it in this autumn.

The Hill with Ruins

Our area has small hill, Funaoka-yama. There are the ruins of an ancient house in the Jomon period and a stronghold in the Warring States period.

After Raining

This morning, we had rain, but I had flied three times afternoon. It was not so good condition. I, however, enjoyed the short flights.

Dimly Visible

Last Sunday, it was so strong West-wind. I got one flight in this tough condition. The view was not clear, but I enjoyed that flight.

Forced Landing

Thus, I made landing at the path between fields near the Kawachi's funeral hall.

Lost Altitude

I tried cross country flight to South, but I failed. I lost altitude above former Kawachi in Hakusan-shi.

Pampas Grass

It's autumn. The launch of the Shishiku Area has Japanese pampas grass around it.

Harvest Time

They start reaping the rice in the vicinity of our flight area. This is the good thing to fly, because it will make the ascending current mild, and then we can easily find the place for a forced landing.

After Typhoon

We got cool & dry wind from North. This is typical autumn air. Today's condition was not so stable, but I could have two flight.

Merkmal

This plant is one of the targets along the 2nd Northern boarder in the Shishiku Area. Someday, I hope that I could go around this plant.

Fly with the Friend

It was one of the most amazing condition in the Shishiku Area. I really enjoyed two flights with the pilot "Matchan" who ride on Green O8.

Autumn Sky

After the Typhoon, it got cooler. Anyway, I like the sky in autumn.

Old Wings

I bought new wing "Magus XC2" this spring, but I sometimes used ARTIK and POISON for flying and kiting. Now, they still work very well.

But I couldn't....

Today, it was windy too much. Some flyers got a chance to fly, but I couldn't. In this summer, high pressure in the Pacific Ocean is very weak. ;-(

Sightseeing Flight

There were a lot of people who tried to tandem flight in these days. It was unfortunately unstable to fly, but more than 20 people flied as a Tandem Passenger today.

Advance OMEGA8 is the most major wing in EN-D wings in the Shishiku Area now.

I wore a white business shirt with bow tie, a pair of slacks and black-framed glasses....

An Air Pirate

In the summer festival at the Shishiku Area, pirates also flied. X-)

One of our programs was this blue aircraft. It has 90 kg weight!

Shishiku Sky Festa

Our Area had summer festival for disguised flight (masquerade?). A lot of flyers comes to join this fest. ;-)

It's Marvelous!

I hod a test flight for MacPara MARVEL (EN-C/LTF2) yesterday. Pitching behavior of this wing was so stable, but it could turn smoothly. I felt it heavy to pull brake-code and very short stroke. Anyway, it was so fun to fly on this marvelous new wing.

Restarted Guy

It was fine day in the morning. In above photo, this flyer has the pilot license, but almost beginner, because he left paragliding more than 10 years ago.

Dancing with Cloud

today, cloud base was low. I had to be careful to keep away from clouds. Cloud is likely to appear in the ascending current.

Left Hand

I usually grip the left riser to regulate minutely, because I am a right-hander.

Fish Eye

I tried Fish-Eye converter for Sony NEX-3. It was difficult to compose a picture and to adjust its focus. This might make it slower to focus on the subject.

Railway

There is a railway station in Tsurugi downtown near the Shishiku Area. This is the end of Ishikawa line of the Hokutetsu railway. The other end is the Nomachi station in Kanazawa downtown. One flyer comes to the Area by this railway.

Lower Approach

L/D of the recent wings is getting better. Thus it makes landing approach difficult. I have to be more careful to keep appropriate altitude and distance.

Weak Condition

It was cloudy today. I had one flight for 10 min. I realized that I should have practice to rise up MXC2 from the front position.

Fresh M4

The 3rd Ozone MANTRA4 in the Shishiku Area had Virgin flight today. Although its owner had a hard time of rise-up, it showed great flight ability after launching.

Endure the Heat

Rainy season passed last week, and it got so hot in Japan. I am done in by the heat.... orz

The Great Beginner

She got the first flight at the Shishiku Area in this month. In this flight, her wing had line trouble, but she was so composed and controlled the new glider.

Another Green O8

My friend got the Green Omega8. Thus there are three green ones. Will this make a confused situation? Maybe not. The flight style is distinguishable from each other.
