Preflight Training?

We have to reach the Launch before the flight. Anyway, it is sometimes hard in winter. Before we take off, our body got warmed up. ;-)

Blue Sky in Winter Land

It was calm day. I got three flights. In the 3rd flight, I gained height and enjoyed beautiful view of Mts. Hakusan and Tateyama.

Winter Spats

It is also important to keep my legs warm. I put on long spats for mountain-nearing. They are so useful on snowy province in winter.

Winter Glove

It got cold recently. Protection of hands is the most important in out-door sports.

The young pilot who rode Ozone M3 in our colleague left for his home town, Matsumoto in Nagano Pref. I hope his complete recovery.

Last One?

This orange-colored wing is the last Sport2 in the Shishiku Area... maybe...
This pilot is a really experienced. I guess he will get new wing.

How About...

This morning, I got suggestion about Advance OMEGA8 as my next wing. I know its great ability, but I have to lose 5 kg from my wight. X-(

He Married.

His bride is also a paraglider flyer, but they did come to the Shishiku Area in fewer frequency than ever.

Super Light

He is the lightest flyer in the Shishiku Area. Light weight is one of the serious problems for Asian flyers.

Ending the Season

Last Saturday, we had closing party of this season. The Shishiku-Kogen Paragliding School will close until March. I, however, will have flight in winter X-)

Troyka

A couple of cute girls tried to fly last month. They looked happy so much, and we also felt happy!

Come Back to Earth

She left the hospital. I was pleased with her recovery, but I am afraid if she will get new 2-3 wing.

Harnesses

I ordered a harness. It was SUP'AIR Altix2, an Airbag-type one. I am sceptical about safety of mouse-type harnesses. I realized that some flyers using mouse-type harnesses got a fracture of back-bone.

Late Autumn

Today, I had a flight about sunset. Autumn leaves shining in the rays of the setting sun were so beautiful.

Toward South

When main stream was South, we can easily chatch the ground thermal. Thus, we can enjoy western side in Southern part of the Shishiku Area.

Cosmos

There is one yard for cosmos near our Landing.

With the Moon

I love the view of paraglider and the moon. In autumn and spring, we can see this combination in the sky.

Asian Dust

It was so dusty and sandy last Saturday.

Spiral Practice

It was poor condition to glide due to Asian dust. Some young pilots had exercises of flight skill.

Fine Tomorrow.

This week, we had cold rain every day. Anyway, it will be fine tomorrow! I guess it would be final chance to enjoy flight in autumn.

Autumn Leaves

Leaves in our Area got red and yellow. This view is so beautiful, but this is final signal of closing flight season.

Migratory Birds

This Saturday afternoon, birds flew in formation. So, it has got late autumn.

It's Already Got Old.

He changed his MAGUS to MANTRA R10.2 to win the race. Wings for competition have very fast abilities in its gliding speed and ageing. ;-(

The Point to Survive

In early July, I went to fly at the Akaishi Area in Ishigaki Is. Then wind direction was not so good. The Northern wall in the above Photo was only the point to catch the ridge wind.

Challenger

Now, a gay who rides on this green CAYENNE3 is trying the exam for Pilot License. This morning, he passed the paper test. Next, he must clear the flight test. I hope his success.

Logging Road

Recently, some paths through a forest were constructed in our Shishiku Area. These kinds of constructs are welcome for us, although they somehow mar the forest's beauty.

I Made it!

Today, my total flight number got reached 800. I started paragliding on September 24, 2001. Thus I spent 9 years for 800 flights.

Hospitalized

She is very ambitious flyer to be a real pilot. However, she is now hospitalized due to a bone fracture. I hope that I could see her aggressive flight next spring.

Wait for a While

Leaves have not got changed, yet. This autumn, it was not so much difference between the lowest and highest temperatures. We should wait longer to enjoy autumn leaves.

The Last

I failed to get a chance to fly in best condition today. I guessed back-wind today. Anyway, I flied as last one.

Rare Chance, but...

He is veteran pilot of the Shishiku Area. Since he got married, he comes to fly so rarely. It's very few chance for him, but he shows big flight every time.

Sunset View

Anyway, I believe that the Shishiku Area is the best flight area to enjoy the sunset view. I love that.

Autumn Sunset Flight

Last Sunday, I was the last flyer at the Shishiku Area. It was only 10 min flight, but I tried to watch the view of sunset as much as possible.

Autumn Evening

Last weekend, we really had flight all day long. Especially, I enjoyed beautiful sunset view at the Shishiku Area. This area is the best place to watch the evening view, because it faces to Japan sea in the west.

Smaller OMEGA

Smaller test-wing came to the Shishiku Area. Girls enjoyed its fight. Especially, Nana had big flight in sunset time.

Gradually increasing Gradient pilots

Recently, we got gradually increasing fellows to fly together at the Shishiku Area. Almost of them are Gradient pilots by chance. Anyway, I think that Gradient produces good wings.

OMEGA!

I got a chance of the test flight for Advance OMEGA8. I realized great flight ability of recent 2-3 wings.

Autumn

It got cool more and more. It will be autumn condition in next flight chance. Probably, I should prepare flightsuits.

Cosmos Fest

Komatsu City had festival at Ohkuradake Kogen Area. So, a lot of people visited there. We would be pleased if they got interest to paragliding there.

Volunteer Again

I really enjoyed supporting flights by beginners. Of course, I had practise to rise up and glide with my wing.

Autumn Sky

It recently got cooler and cloud shape turned to autumn type.

Green Hot Pepper

On Sunday, a new CAYENNE3 colored green got virgin flight at the Shishiku Area. The flyer who purchased it has not had Pilot License but his skill is enough to ride this LTF2 wing.

New Wing by Advance

Mr. Kumada, a pilot who rode SIGMA6, had test flight of OMEGA8. I am so interested in this wing, but its weight range is not fit to me. When I found this test flight, I asked Mr. Kumada how he felt its flight ability via radio. Then he said "well, it is better than SIGMA". X-(

Volunteer Day

I went to the Okuradake Kogen Area to have kiting practice. I helped beginners trying short flight there. They really enjoyed paragliding.

Be Fine, Have Practice.

It will be fine, but back or side wind in the Shishiku Area tomorrow. So, I decide that I have kiting practice at Okuradake Kogen.

Genius or Wing??

The young M3 rider of Shishiku joined the Japan League race last Saturday. It was his first race, but he got the 3rd in the serial class.

Hungry?

Yes! Flyers are hungry on the earth, because soarable time is always lunch-time.

Dam in North

Recently, we have North wind in afternoon. Thus, I enjoyed flight in the Northern part of our Area, and I sometimes tried to get closer to this dam represented above photo.
